Needle valve

Flow or pressure control on pipes. The gate is operated by a 1/4-turn rotation of the control axis, and can be operated by a manual or motorized gearbox, or by a hydraulic cylinder combined with a counterweight. The flow rate is directly proportional to the opening stroke, and the addition of a diffuser enables the valve to operate in vena contracta mode.
