Design and manufacture of an overflow sector gate for residual flow regulation

Design, manufacture and testing of two hollow-jet drain valves: DN 250 (low-flow release) and DN 900 (high-flow release) for Lake Lescouroux

General specifications:
• Hollow-jet valves DN250 PN 10 PS 2 bar & DN 900 PN 10 PS 2 bar. Free-discharge drain valves.
• Electric operation by actuator via bevel gear transmission with connecting rods and rising stem.
• Body material: S355 steel. Plug and concentrator in 304L stainless steel.
• Coating: ACQPA Im2 HANI 1232 - RAL 5017
• Operating, tightness and pressure tests according to EN 12266.

Design, manufacture and testing of a DN 1000 PN 6 PS 3 bar gate valve

Design, manufacture and testing of a DN 2000 PN 10 butterfly valve for the Vinça dam

General specifications:
• Butterfly valve DN 2000 PN 10 GN 10 PS 3.41 bar. Maximum flow rate 8 m3/s.
• Electric operation by gearbox and actuator.
• Body and disc material: S355 steel. Sealing seats in 304L stainless steel.
• Construction code EN 1090 - EXC 2
• Surface preparation: grade P3 according to ISO 8501-3
• Coating: ACQPA Im2 HANI 1232 - RAL 5017 with pull-off test

• Partial grouting of the square transition piece
• Operating tests under load at normal water level via the actuator

Design, manufacture and shipment of sector gates for the Umkhomazi River in South Africa:

Design and manufacture:
• 1 x 4000 x 4000 sector gate & 2 x 3000 x 3000 sector gates

• Gate leaf and arms in passivated 304L stainless steel, frame in passivated 316L stainless steel

• Major butt welds: 100% radiographic inspection, COFREND level 3 certified

Roller bottom outlet gate W 1200 x H 1200 mm:
• Operated by rack, gearbox and actuator. Gate leaf, frame and extension in passivated 316L stainless steel. Protected by a trash rack with 600 mm bar spacing in S355 steel with ACQPA IM2 ZNI 732 coating (polyurethane finish, blue RAL 5017).

• One-way sealing by rubber seal on a stainless steel seat.
• S355 steel construction with ACQPA Im2 ANI anti-corrosion coating (colour: light grey - RAL 7035).
